The local alt-weekly paper, the Nashville Scene, sponsors a contest every year called "You are so Nashville if..." Readers submit what they think best completes the sentence. The winning entry this year, "...you saw Kenny Chesney in a Kroger reading Out & About," questions Kenny Chesney's sexuality while making reference to local Kroger stores pulling the only gay newspaper in town from its news stands.
