Gordon Gee to depart Vanderbilt for Ohio State

E. Gordon Gee, I will miss your glasses, bowtie, and goofy smile all over campus. You did a terrific job as chancellor and raised a ton of money for Vanderbilt. Despite the criticism you received from the Wall Street Journal for your occasional exuberant spending, you did the right things as a professional cheerleader and fundraiser. It's a shame that you must return to the Heart of Darkness and tOSU, but I will always have a place in my heart for you. Remember that I detest your institution and will loathe you November 17 and 2-3 times during the winter (Michiganh as a basketball program now, after all). Godspeed, E.G.G.
