Amazon tried to do this a few years ago with their "A9" brand, which was a sub-status search engine that included a map feature. They had it rolled out through about 20 cities, but unfortunately it never took off, mainly because who uses A9 maps? Or even knows about it for that matter? Good stuff, glad to see it coming back right.
